Have you seen the chesire cat appear and disappear in the magic mirror at Disneyland? You know, the one that looks like a normal mirror, but then the grinning chesire cat suddenly appears? And then disappears?
There are several magic mirrors around Disneyland and they’re all fantastic! This post is about the Alice in Wonderland Chesire Cat magic mirror.
Where is the Chesire Cat Magic Mirror?
It’s in one of the Mad Hatter shops in Disneyland (where you can get your ears on!) There are a couple of Mad Hatter shops, so the chesire cat magic mirror is in the Mad Hatter in Fantasyland. It’s very close to – you guessed it – Alice in Wonderland. It’s also right next to the Mad Tea Party. That makes total sense, right?
Here is a look at the Mad Hatter shop in Fantasyland…
When you walk in, take a look at the back wall, above the cash registers. There you will find the magic mirror that is bordered or surrounded by the caterpillar from the Alice in Wonderland story. (The caterpillar is a wise but confusing character.) You can see that he’s blowing smoke and asking the question, Who R U?
If you watch the mirror for a few seconds, the grinning chesire cat will magically appear. And then as soon as you see him, poof, he’s gone again.
